Against a tough field of 600's, Jamie notched his first feature victory at Airport Speedway. A second place finish in his heat gave him a 4th place starting position in the feature, his best of the season. Jamie did not let it go to waste, jumping into second right at the start. When the leader ran into trouble on lap 5, the Kostic Racing #10 inherited the lead. But it was not easy from there on, however, as Jamie had to hold off Airport's best on numerous restarts. But at each green flag, he motored away from the field. Smooth and fast, he put his Hyper into victory lane where he was joined by Mark and Kathy for the celebration.
